Includes story time and an educational, hands-on activity.  These are adult with child classes. Registration not required.  Class not discountable. Cost is $3 per participating child; no adult charge.

City Council Event: City Council Ad Hoc Committee - Election Code Amendments

At the October 20 Council meeting, Council adopted a resolution that would appoint three Councilors to an ad hoc committee to discuss amendments to the Election Code.  Those appointed are Councilmembers Cunniff, Overbeck, and Stephens.  It is anticipated they will meet 2 – 4 times in November/December, with Committee recommendations being discussed at a January 12 Work Session.

Natural Areas Event: Eagle Watch

Bald eagles from the north spend nights in communal roosts near Fossil Creek Reservoir. Volunteer Master Naturalists will be stationed at the pier to explain the eagles’ natural history and help visitors view them through spotting scopes and binoculars. Drop by anytime during program hours. Free! May be canceled if temperatures are below freezing, or if its windy or foggy, check http://www.fcgov.com/naturalareas before you go.
