General Information:

The City Park Nine Men’s Golf Association provides a 9-hole event every Thursday afternoon. All ages 18+, and skill levels are welcome to join.

 

Tee Times are from 2:30p - 5:30p

 

Dues and costs:

Dues for the current season are $220 (Split into 2 $110 payments & include the daily $5 game entry). This includes the GHIN fee, golf genius live scoring, club expenses, and catering for the end of season shotgun event. 

 

Time and Dates:

Thursday afternoons starting in April (preseason) and going through the middle of September.

There is a special beauty in a garden as the sun begins to set! Join us for a series of hands-on educational evenings with horticulture experts from across our community. Three immersive evenings. Three beautiful sunsets. Three opportunities to learn and grow!

Natural Areas Event: History Underfoot

*Registration for this program is required and will close on 7/25 at midnight* Where: Arapaho Bend Natural Area, Meet at the Harmony Transit Center parking lot. Meet at the NW end of the lot near the trailhead. When: Friday, July 26, 10:00am - 1:00 pm. Program Description: Discuss original homesteaders from Paleo-Indians to the Arapaho and Cheyenne bands that call the area home. Hear stories about Chief Friday, the Buss family, George Strauss, and the Sherwood Ranch. Discuss areas contribution to current Colorado Water law and early Poudre River homesteaders. Accessibility: This program has accessible parking and restroom access. The walk is up to 3 miles, and includes both on and off-trail hiking through varied terrain. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring multiple layers for both active walking and standing still. Bring sunscreen, a hat / sunglasses, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water. Trails may be muddy so please wear proper footwear. Lincoln Center Event: 40th New Legacies: Contemporary Art Quilts

The goal of the exhibition is to recognize the world’s finest contemporary quilt artists and to advance the art form.

The Gardens at Spring Creek Event: Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese system of body movement that has been cherished over the centuries for its beneficial impact on health of the heart, bones, nerves, muscles, immune system and the mind.  Often referred to as “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi is widely practiced around the world, preferably in a beautiful outdoor setting. 

The Gardens on Spring Creek is delighted to collaborate with John Broderick, student of Min Fan, to offer our members and community this special outdoor class, suitable for all levels.

Note for Participants: Classes are taught outside and shade is available but limited. Please check the weather and plan accordingly for your comfort and safety during the practice.

Classes will be capped at 25 participants.  Please check in through the main entrance. Class registration includes Gardens admission.  Click the date to register for that class.

This workshop will cover the physiological responses to stress and anxiety, 4 obstacles that keep us stuck in the cycle of anxiety, and 3 powerful strategies to heal it. The workshop includes meditation and breathwork. 

Participants would need to bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a blanket
